Finding God's Winning Spirit

A Word from Greg

In John 10:10, Jesus says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” The Greek word translated here as “abundantly” is per-is-sos which means: exceedingly, beyond what is expected, or in excess. This is neither rhetoric nor mere possibility – it is a promise. God wants us to be fulfilled. God created us with good things in mind. He created us to be fulfilled, complete, and purposeful in our lives. Most of all, he created us to be in relationship with Him. Unfortunately, from the fall to the present, we have forgotten who we were created to be and who God is. We have defined God and our own lives by our own voice; we have blocked our view of Him; we have limited our potential; and we have lost our way.

This is my purpose, or calling if you will: to challenge and encourage others not only to pursue and expect a fuller life through Christ but to achieve it. As a Christian therapist, I work with highly motivated clients to help them unlock and re-discover their potential – “the abundant life.” Through intensive individual therapy, Bible study, and the celebration of life, I believe that we can all find God's Winning Spirit.
